Connect AI Assistants
Use Claude or ChatGPT with your UnLethe vocabulary: check your progress, find and add words, organize tags, and practice.
What you can do
- See the languages you're learning, your progress, and what's due for review.
- Search your saved words by text, tag, or learning progress.
- Add new words with translations, examples, and tags, and edit the ones you have.
- Create, rename, and assign tags to keep words organized.
- Practice your words in a quiz and save the results to your stats.
- Send feedback or report a bug.
Before you start
You need the UnLethe app on your iPhone. Every new connection is approved in the app, so only you can connect an assistant to your words.
Connection address
Your assistant asks for this address:
https://api.unlethe.com/mcp
Connect Claude
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one.
- Select Add UnLethe to Claude above, or in Claude add a custom connector with the address above.
- Select Connect next to UnLethe.
- A page with a QR code opens. Scan it with your iPhone camera, or open UnLethe, go to Profile → AI Assistants → Add + → Enter Code, and type the code shown on the page.
- Check the request in UnLethe and select Allow. You're connected.
Connect ChatGPT
Adding your own plugin needs a paid ChatGPT plan with developer mode turned on.
- In ChatGPT, create a plugin named UnLethe with the address above, using OAuth sign-in.
- Select Connect.
- A page with a QR code opens. Scan it with your iPhone camera, or open UnLethe, go to Profile → AI Assistants → Add + → Enter Code, and type the code shown on the page.
- Check the request in UnLethe and select Allow. You're connected.
Things to ask
- “What am I learning in UnLethe? Give me an overview.”
- “Show my Spanish words tagged Travel.”
- “Add ‘la sartén’ (frying pan) to my Spanish words and tag it Kitchen.”
- “Quiz me on my difficult words, then save how I did.”
- “Write a short story with the words I’m learning now.”
Limits
Each time an assistant reads or changes your UnLethe data counts as one request. Free accounts include 50 requests in total; Premium raises the limit to 10,000 requests a day.
Your remaining free requests are shown in UnLethe under Profile → AI Assistants.
Disconnecting and privacy
Disconnect an assistant at any time in UnLethe under Profile → AI Assistants, or remove UnLethe from your assistant. A disconnected assistant loses access right away.
A connected assistant can see and change your vocabulary and progress. What you share in a conversation is handled by the assistant's provider under their own terms.
